Xiaomi 15 Price in Pakistan

The price of the Xiaomi 15 is Pakistan is 269,999 PKR. It appears that more manufacturers are doing the same today, which leads us to our evaluation unit, the Xiaomi 15. At first sight, it appears that nothing has changed since the Xiaomi 14 debuted last year. Instead, the changes are under the hood, including a new CPU, a larger battery, and a new operating system.

Display

Moving on to the display of the Xiaomi 15, it seems to be a carryover from the previous model as well. The screen still measures 6.36 inches, and you do get very thin borders all around. It still uses an LTPO OLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 3200 nits of peak brightness. There’s also HDR10+ support along with Dolby Vision giving users a better viewing experience when binge watching movies or series on this phone.

Storage

To add further power, it has 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal capacity. A separate memory card port will be provided for expanding memory.

Camera

There are no adjustments to the cameras, either. Xiaomi offers three 50MP cameras tuned by Leica: a main shooter with a 1/1.31″ Light Fusion 900 image sensor, a telephoto with a new 28nm sensor, and a 50MP ultrawide with f/2.2 aperture. The software used to process the camera is new. According to the firm, the Xiaomi AISP 2.0 platform has been improved to increase the cameras’ ability to shoot in a variety of settings.

Processor & Benchmarks

While there aren’t many visible upgrades to the Xiaomi 15, the chipset has seen the most significant improvement. It now employs the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset which is included in the current flagship smartphones. However I did notice that the phone heats up quickly when playing games. After only 15 minutes of playing Genshin, the Xiaomi 15 began to warm up. The temperature rose slightly after that, but the key thing is that it had no effect on the gaming. Even when it was hotter, the games I was playing maintained their frame rates.

Battery

Aside from the improved chipset, the Xiaomi 15’s battery has also been significantly upgraded. It’s much bigger than previously, with a new 5,240mAh Li-Ion battery pack. Even before we conducted our benchmarks, we could see that the battery lasted much longer than previously. After a full day of use, the phone still had enough battery to last another 5 to 6 hours. For example, we utilised it to shoot sample images and videos, play games, and binge-watch videos during our break. Still, it was a long time before the battery began to drain.
